Why Hosting Events at your Business is a Good Idea

The holiday shopping (SPENDING) season is upon us, and if you haven’t positioned your business to get in on some of the action yet, I have a suggestion that could be a shot in the arm for your bottom line: host an event at your location.

Below are a few of the benefits for you and  your business:

– opportunity for face to face communication and interaction with target market

-brand awareness

-exposure to new target market

-captive audience to launch new products or services

– networking for future partnerships/alliances

You don’t have to wait for a special occasion or holiday to host an event, anytime is the right time to get more exposure for your business. The most important thing to remember is to create a pleasurable experience for your guests, this way you’ll have a whole new group of people spreading the good news about your business.

HAPPY PLANNING!

Congratulations!!!

Congrats on your new business!!!

I know, you haven’t started a new business. But if you had, I would hope that you are consulting a professional event planner to coordinate your grand opening. I know what you’re thinking, “Why on Earth do I need an event planner when I’ve been doing everything by myself already??” I’m glad you asked 🙂

Your grand opening, whether for a new business startup or announcing a new location, is the absolute best opportunity you will have for a long time to touch as many potential customers at one time. Don’t waste it. Besides, after working your tail off to move in, set up shop, and get ready to sell, sell, sell, why would you want to be stuck managing refreshments while your customers are wandering around? You should WANT to be right there with them, telling them how great your business is, and why they should take a card, flyer, or pen and file your contact information in their mental rolodex to be used when the need arises. Having an event planner available doing what they do best gives you the freedom to do what you do best.

Here’s to a successful grand opening!
